Reddish brownish above, lighter below, with a dark stripe extending from behind the eye about two-thirds of the distance across the lateral lobe of the pronotum. Forewings are about the length of the abdomen or slightly longer and are not distinctly marked. Hind femora are yellowish brown. Hind tibiae are greenish blue or dull red. Males are 20-24 mm long, females 21-27 mm.
In males, the cerci are short and constricted near the middle. The tip is expanded and broadly rounded, and slightly depressed. The extensions of the furcula are divergent, and no more than one-third the length of the supra-anal plate. The supra-anal plate is narrowed and pointed at the tip. the subgenital plate is slightly grooved at the tip. |
