This yellowish-brown species is marked by an oversized head, a weak whitish cross or X on the dorsal surface of the pronotum, and blue hind tibiae. Lateral lobes of the pronotum often are marked with a blackish patch. Forewings are brownish or grayish with dark speckles. Hind femora bear two weak black bands. Wings extend beyond the tip of the abdomen. Males are 16-25 mm long, females 22-35 mm.
