Field Guide to Grasshoppers, Katydids, and Crickets of the United States
This small, brownish grasshopper is marked with a wavy or crenulated dark stripe on the forewings. A dark stripe also extends from the top of the head, through the eye, and across the lateral lobe of the pronotum. Hind femora bear a dark stripe, and the hind tibiae are cream in color. Males are 13-19 mm long, females 16-26 mm.
